The TCS World 10K will evoke something larger, something significant in people and the city this year.

The first mass participative event after 2 years!

Fast distance, spectacular course, formidable elite field, roar of the participants, Kanteerava finish.

Electric atmosphere. The sense of occasion. An emotional time.

A time that helps unlock some sort of power inside, to come alive!

But what is it that makes us come alive?

Is it travel, being part of something larger than life, discovering music, being in nature, moments of grace? Or is there more to it

To be fully alive, fully human, and completely awake is to be continually thrown out of the nest. They say people are not looking for the meaning of life as much as they are looking for the experience of being alive.

Said visionary Howard Thurman "Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive."

But Thurman is suggesting something different here. He isn’t saying that it’s merely nice to feel alive. He’s saying that it’s necessary in order to make the world work.

When we feel alive we give off a powerful energy. That energy is vital—not only to ourselves—but to our organizations, our communities, our families, and everyone else around us too.

So it’s incumbent upon each of us to figure out what makes us come alive—and go do it. Far from self-indulgent, it’s a critical act of service in a challenging world.

To be alive - is being capable of more than you imagined.

Being part of something significant, together.

Doing something meaningful, making it count.

Having belief in self.

Finding your inner joy.

To be alive - is Power.
