TCS WORLD 10K BENGALURU 2024
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAJJA RUN PARTICIPANTS
The much-anticipated race day, Sunday, 28th April 2024, is fast approaching, and we can't wait to see you at the starting line! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable race start, here are the essential details related to starting your race:
EVENT VENUE
- The Majja Run will start from outside the Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw Parade Ground on Cubbon Road. On the race day, Majja Run participants need to assemble inside RSAOI Cricket Ground using Gate 4 on MG Road.
- Arrival Time: We request all participants to kindly reach the venue entrance gate (as mentioned above) at least 60 minutes prior to scheduled race start time i.e. by 7:15 am. The early arrival would allow ample time for you to clear security checks, move to the Assembly Area, meet your group runners, avail essential facilities like chemical toilets, water and access the medical aid stations (in case you need any immediate medical attention), and importantly, mentally prep up for your run. Safety of all is of utmost priority to us on race day; necessary security checks will be undertaken at the entrance. Do anticipate queues on the approach roads and at the venue entrance gate. You are advised to plan your journey accordingly, reach the venue in time and enjoy a stress-free start to your run.
- Please note – Limited parking space is available for cars and motorbikes for Majja Run participants on the race day. Parking stickers will be issued at the Mirchi Get Active Expo, on first come first served basis. To avail of a parking sticker, you will need to show your running number and give the following details to our volunteers at the expo – (a) your contact number, (b) registration number of the vehicle you will be using on race day and (c) the name and number of the driver where the car is not self-driven.
- Limited parking, without any cost, will also be available for bicycles near Gate No.4 of RSAOI – do watch out for the exact location on the event’s website. Do secure your bike with a chain and lock.
- Please note – The RSAOI is easily accessible from the MG Road & Trinity Circle Metro Stations. So, we urge all participants to use Metro service to reach the venue on race day and avoid bringing cars.
- The approximate time one could take to reach RSAOI Gate 4 from the designated parking areas & taking the shuttle service to reach RSAOI is indicated below. Please note, the indicated time does not include any wait/ queue time, so kindly keep enough time in hand to reach RSAOI Gate 4 at least 60 minutes before the race start time.

- Walk Distance & Time. The approximate time one could take to reach RSAOI Gate 4 from the close by parking area/ drop-off point if using radio taxi or chauffer driven cars/ using Metro services & then walking towards the venue is indicated below. Please note, the time indicated does not include any wait/queue time, so kindly keep enough time in hand to reach RSAOI at least 60 minutes before your race start time.

- Once you have entered Gate 4 of RSAOI on M.G. Road, you can anticipate activities/pre-race flow mentioned in the table below; the table also indicates distances and approx. duration.

- The finish line of the Majja Run category is outside Army Public School on Kamaraj Road. Post finish, Majja Run runners need to enter the Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw Parade Ground through Gate 4 to avail of post-race facilities.
ADHERENCE TO RACE DAY TIMINGS
The timings mentioned in the table below, will be strictly followed. Runners reaching the RSAOI Gate 4 late and/ or starting their race after the scheduled cut-off time, for reasons whatsoever, tend to create hindrance and compromise the experience of participants, scheduled subsequently. Runners not adhering to the timings mentioned in the said table will not be allowed to participate in the TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2024. This is to ensure a smooth race start and a seamless experience for all the participants.

* Majja Run participants reaching the RSAOI Gate 4 or the holding area entrance gate after the cut-off times mentioned, will not be allowed to participate in the TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2024.
** Where you have not been able to cross the start line by 8:45 a.m., you will not be permitted to start and participate in the event, as Champions with Disability & Silvers Run will be Flagged off at 08:50 am.
