Bengaluru is known for its vibrant culture, tech-savvy crowd, and love for sports. This is your chance to celebrate the city’s energy by running in a costume that showcases your creativity. Whether you want to channel your favourite superhero, embrace a legendary character from Indian folklore, or highlight a cause close to your heart—this is your stage!

Open 10K Run In Costume Competition – Rules & Guidelines for Participants

  1. Registration & Enrolment
    • Participants in the Open 10K category who wish to join the Run In Costume competition must officially register for the Run In Costume Competition by filling out the official online form (available on the event website).
    • The registration form will be live from 26th April 2025.
  2. Costume Submission
    • Participants must upload photos/videos of their costumes on their social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter).
    • Participants must take photos at designated photo-op stations set up at the venue, located in both the pre-race and post-race holding areas.
    • The posts should be made between 27th April 2025 (Sunday, 7 AM) and 28th April 2025 (Monday, 7 AM).

  3. Eligibility Criteria
    • Only participants who complete the 10K run are eligible for judging (this can be checked via the data that is shared with OneGlint).
    • Participants must provide their bib number for verification.
    • Photo submission must be taken at the venue (photo-op stations) with the bib visible.
  4. Contest Categories
    • Individuals: The top 5 individual winners will be rewarded.
  5. Entry Confirmation & Judging Process
    • All valid entries will be compiled by the event team and shared with the Run In Costume (RIC) judge for evaluation.
    • The judging panel will review submissions based on creativity, originality, and alignment with the theme.
    • Shortlisted finalists will be selected and reviewed by the designated judge.
  6. Winner Announcement
    • The judge will finalize the top 5 winners based on the shortlisted entries.
    • The winners will be officially announced on 30th April 2025 via digital platforms and event communication channels.
  7. Rewards and Recognition
    • The top 5 winners will receive prizes from sponsors/partners (e.g., vouchers, merchandise).

Important Notes

  • Entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
  • Costumes must adhere to event guidelines.
  • The judge’s decision will be final and binding.
